Bolt from the Blue

The darlin' pc went Ka-Boom-ed 2 days ago.

I'm now of course, doing this in the computer lab of UTAR.

So as the word 'Ka-Boom' suggested, the pc got thunderstruck while in use. And to think that I was, so unfortunately the one, who was using the computer at that particular, critical time, I am now reasonably held responsible for the matter. Although according to some technician, it would have been the same even if it was not in use. Nevermind =/

I am now officially broke.

A modem and a mouse to be replaced. You don't call yourself unluckily broke for that. The USB ports at the back of the CPU all malfunctioned. Haha. This is true misfortune. I got myself covered with dust to find out the problem. Amazingly, I guess, the pc is still working somehow. But we have so much to be fixed before we can actually use it. I mean... what's the use of a computer without the USB, a pointing device and most importantly... internet? lol. Mum's more worried about the telephone line.

I'm worried about... $.$ <--- lol.

As some of you might already know... I am not IT savvy at all and I don't even know the normal price for a normal optical mouse. I somehow fear that I might get cheated in the process of getting the parts replaced. Tell me... what's the best deal for... what do you call that...? USB hub?? I don't even know how to describe it.

Argh. Just when I thought that good things are coming my way when I found the pen drive in Emily's pencil case, we have this happening.

I swear I'll not only want a bf who can play music but also one who knows troubleshooting. Ok. Kidding.

Few days ago I happened to saw something I really like. It's a very fancy jewellery box that plays classical music whenever you open one of its drawer. There's one with illustrations of 'Wizard of the Oz' that plays 'Spring' by Vivaldi. It's really really cute but super expensive =X

Wanted to chip for it but now it's totally impossible. It's gonna end up being bought up by others... NOOOOOO!!!

Oh well, that's life.

I'm better off being stingy for the year. As what the astrologers suggested. Anything involving money, don't call me. Or else I'll have no hope at all for my other dream item. You know what it is!
