Work was REAL TOUGH.
Challenging but overall quite an interesting one. Learnt a lot from it. Now I'm officially an 'experienced' salesperson! Hah! I'm very tempted to work again.
Might as well tell the story from the top, starting from the training before the fair.
Ruby and I actually applied for the job alongside Pikachu. In fact, she was the one who got us the offer. But for some reasons, only the two of us were contacted for the job. So... though we felt bad, nothing could be done. We then went for the training just to find...
2 OF US BEING THE ONLY 2 BLOODY FEMALES IN THE WHOLE LIST OF PROMOTERS WTH.
Okay. Maybe we overreacted a little.
But less than halfway through the fair, we kinda see the reason why. Lol.
Was extremely nervous on the first day of work. Ruby took a pic of me sms-ing Pikachu out of anxiety. Lol.

The hairstyle that greatly reminds me of Emily lol
People you know how ignorant I am on pc and laptop specs. I was very worried about receiving complaints for being unable to sell and answer to the customers’ questions. But anyhow, time passed and I went with the flow.
The first day I grasped the gist of it, the second day I had the laptop models and specs at my fingertips, the third day... let’s just say that I could think only of pushing sales lol.
Highlights of 2010/04 PC Fair Part-Time Experience
1. Must watch: Burned ACER Booth.
“Oi, oi, look there. How come got dry ice fog effect one arh? Baru open for visit only worh... Some more at the top one weih... Ei wrong lah wrong lah damn smelly!! ACER Booth on fire!!! Don’t buy from ACER, people! (lol)”
2. Some foreigner with DSLR stopped in front while I was on my job and took a close-up photo of me with blinding flash. I guarantee he got a photo of me looking like this: O.O!! lol.
3. Pasar malam KLCC – Last hour promotion, the craziness.
Fanny dropped by for a while, Ian came and brought me business (the awesomeness), Rubber and Pikachu came over to see me too. Then I also bumped into Ling Fei (who didn’t notice me at all T_T) Yen Nee (primary school classmate who said I never changed a bit), and some other friends.
Working with the younger guys made me felt old *sigh* ...
One of them thought of me as of the same age, until the last day when I was revealed to be 2 years older. LOL. Then there was this baby-faced guy who turned out to be 1 year older than me. *sigh*
PC Fair is like intensive sales training. You get to see ALL kinds of customer and I mean ALL. It’s like a year’s worth of experience juiced into 3 days. But yeah, you probably won’t want me to bore you with the details.
My total sales = 23 laptops... -.-“...
Quite the average, Ruby got 24.
Was very lucky on the first day though, hit the top heh.
Well then, I think that’s enough of a reporting. Now that it’s over, I actually regret not exchanging contacts and emails with the lot. And take photos... =/...
哎... 有缘自会再相遇,就随波逐罢。
Ahh… must thank mum and dad for being so thoughtful of us during this period too. We are the lucky children on planet Earth.
Good news of the day:
Maggie F. officially owns a DSLR!! Woohoo!

Canon 550D
See? Daddy is the best! I’ll learn how to best utilize it. Must ask Joey and Ryan the pros.
I’ll not show y’all the babe before I come out with a nice name. I already have some ideas about that. Also, the first picture I took with the babe is by far my favourite heh. With dad as the subject XD~!
Assignments are officially (guess I overused the word lol) over with radio broadcasting presentation as the ultimate ending. From this point onwards, it’s the papers that count… =X…
I’ll talk more about life the next post. You know I’ve got lots to say. Lol.
Good night. Looking forward to seeing everyone of you soon.
