And yes, I was there at the event in Berjaya Times Square yesterday with my sister (after persuading dad and mum to move with us).
There wasn't much to see since the main focus of the event was more to computer games and that I was actually aiming for anime-related events only. But still, I got to see some interesting cosplay going on. It was my first time seeing REAL cosplay and it was superb!!
The sight of cosplayers excites my nerves and sent me jumping up and down all around. It certainly felt a little weird but I was able to take a deep breath and walked towards to the cosplayers for photos. Maybe it's just me over-reacting, but yea, it was absolutely a breath-taking experience!!!
Check out this awesome cosplayer... One of the captains of the Gotei 13 from Bleach.

I spotted him while he was coming in. I was super excited when I saw him because he looked so cool in his outfit. At a point I even suspected if he could see properly in that lol, therefore I practically waved my hand at him to test it out. Surprisingly he saw me too and pretty much gave me some respond (I think he waved at me too?). I instantly asked if I could take a photo with him. He must have thought that I was crazy or what haha. He was one of my favourite cosplayers of the day.
Then we have Soi-Fong, also one of the captains of Gotei 13.

This was the first photo taken. I like her zanbakudou.
Next and more than anything... I found...

Kuchiki Byakuya!!!!!! OMG. One of the most popular characters in Bleach!!!
That was super cool OK!? I was hyper when I saw him. He was already surrounded by photographers when I took note of his existence. It was a little awkward walking up to him because he seemed so busy. At first I didn't dare to ask for a photo with him at all because he was posing, acting cool and all that for the other photographers. But while I hesitated, our eyes met. I had no choice but to open my mouth and speak.
I was thinking about what kind of pose "Byakuya" would make.
Turned out...

that he was unexpectedly cute and cheerful hahahahahaha XD~! My sis couldn't stop telling me about how cute he was while doing that LOL. That sure rocked.
When it was time to leave (<-- note that dad has 0 interest in stuffs like these), I took one last photo with the Hell Girl, Enma Ai from Jigoku Shoujou.

What that really attracted me was her beautiful red eyes. And what you see in the photo ain't no red eye effect, those are real red eyes (effect of contact lenses la) just like the ones Enma Ai has in the anime.
Well, for your viewing pleasure I also took a few photos with some other cosplayers which I do not know what anime they are actually from (excuse me while I'm not an otaku). But they are cool and worth the attention anyway so I thought I might as well take a few pics with them.

In fact, I somehow regretted on not taking photos with ALL the cosplayers. You can say I was a bit shy LOL.
I supposed they are still holding the cosplay competition today. I wished I could be there but well, can't take things for granted right? I surely enjoyed my time and yea, someday I'm gonna try out cosplaying (that is, before I get old and ugly lol). Enma Ai is on my list XD~!
