[I Am Not One] by Maggie F.
请允许我郑重地声明... 自导自演是非常困难的!!
Allow me to stress that... it is actually very difficult to act and direct at the same time... Yes and especially when the camera crew *cough* is made up of *cough* your family members...
Not to mention that acting itself is another challenge *sigh*
And you think it is only 20 seconds, Kai and I sat in front of the pc for hours!! Well, actually even the shooting took hours...
Many thanks to Kai (GD's pride) for the editing, glad that I consulted him beforehand. Not to forget Zi Yang the last minute cameraman (because those taken by the family members were *cough* ultimately unusable *cough*)
Sorry Mr. and Mrs. Fung, not blaming you couple. To clear this up, I'll have to tell the story behind this 20sec clip.
Err.. if you take a closer look you'll realized that it's actually a lot of work for me to keep changing clothes... but that's not the main point...
Point is, when we were getting back from the MV production in Kampar, we switched camera with another team out of friendliness because their camera was problematic. Then with that particular (hateful) camera, I prepared to shoot my individual assignment on Friday. And as the word 'problematic' suggested, the camera couldn't be started and I was forced to borrow one from Zi Yang which I promised to return the next day as they needed it for another's individual assignment. But having received the camera only around 8pm... I... could do nothing but to shoot under no proper lighting... which explains why the shots became 'unusable'...
Mrs. Fung was a great one. She accompanied me the whole night (9pm - 3am) without uttering a word of complaint. And to think that in the end the video was no good... *Salute*
Of course, after seeing the no-no outcome, I had Zi Yang coming all the way to my house for a reshoot - with limited time. He rushed back PJ as soon as the last shot was taken.
So... what do you think I should expect? =.="
Being a perfectionist doesn't help, at least in the 'human limit' part of life. But to be honest, the overall isn't too far away from my initial expectation... o.o... I'll just say... prior to being a perfectionist, I know my limits pretty well, and that's probably why I'm a perfectionist. I want to either stay my standard, or improve. A perfectionist shouldn't be perfect, a perfectionist should always be searching for perfection, that makes a perfectionist perfectionist. Oh darn redundancy.
I would say with confidence, I could have done better. Provided that everything wasn't in such haste la. And FYI, I was NOT doing things last minute. In fact, I am the first to complete this assignment. Ish.
Yeah, the greatest lesson here is probably: Get your own camera. And software, yes. *nods*
Anyway, this doesn't change the fact that I've learned something. Or at least now I understand myself more.
Comments on the video, anyone?
I know... Residence Evil 6... any others? -.-"
The music is A Shadow by Kajiura Yuki, by the way. And from Pandora Hearts.
And for those who are wondering about the MV... o.o... Taa-Raa!!
Too bad you weren't in there, son (Ian). You were professional (passer-by). lol.
Anyway, thanks to all team members, it's a wrap now. Credits in detail will come later when exam is over because this post is getting longer and longer and I have yet to touch on Japanese (tmr is the day omigosh).
I DO need to revise for Japanese. I know you all know I already know Japanese but... I'm not a prodigy. And I'm gonna make everyone laugh if I fail it.
Well then, off for revision. Good day.

Good video.. hee..
Feel like maggie who's playing the com game is more fit you compared with maggie who's reading. haha..
in case if you need my DIDI, you may tell me and DIDI should be ready any time.
I found a flaw~! the part u playing draco right? the tighter midshot where v can see the monitor, your leg is not there.
Oh ya, perfectionist,i get your message thru all the redundancy.
In some ways, I'm a worse perfectionist compared to you(sometimes)....
wuen> actually i memang wan pinjam ur DiDi... but everything was too sudden lol... and the reading part, it has some other hidden meaning. lol. and i DO read. sometimes. haha
papergoat> i understand what u're trying to say bout the flaw, but take a closer look, i am actually standing very far away from the door so it won't show my legs anyway. measure if you wud like to. =P and it's dragonica not draco.
Camera angle mae me think that that's a flaw, i think. I found some of the flaw i caused, the lighting when u singing and playing violin, a bit over lighting and i ter-shoot the window. Shud hv take my 'ka chang' out earlier to fix it. Draco is the short name me and my frens call the game la~!
yeah i know about the window part, cause i was like "noooo" during the editing lol, and the lighting... bah no time to care for lah...
How can Dragonica be Draco when there's no 'co' in it... Drago then i understand... =.="
Your window part is just like the wires and stand that appears in my version 1 and 2. Now u know how i felt seeing those things~~! I dunno, but the cam seems to capture something that is not visible on the cam screen. Did we forget to alter the exposure for ur room?
Calling Dragonica as Draco is the same as the 'wa' from watashiwa, where the 'wa' is actually a 'ha'~! Get it now?
dude, what's done is done. the wires, stand... and my window... you have to make do with it, no point fretting. It's then up to ur editing to cover up.. don't keep on picking on the details, put your effort into improving it instead =.="...
And the Draco thing is such a made up la lol. No way ppl applying japanese language principles in game calling. and if you want to debate further... in japanese even though 'ha' is read as 'wa' it is still written as 'ha'... so.. you should still type 'Drago' even if you want to read it as 'Draco' =DD...
