Happy Birthday

Happy 17th birthday to me. I am now legally qualified to be a driving license holder. But that wasn't the first thing on my mind. The first thing on my mind when I woke up this morning was my birthday present. Mum said she'll buy me an ice-cream cake and I was really looking forward to that. I didn't really care about food but one thing for sure, I knew there will be red eggs. I wasn't sure about my friends because they showed no sign of remembering my birthday. Some sent wishes through friendster, I was a bit surprised.

I went to school earlier this morning due to the rain. Nobody wished me happy birthday. I never expected so. Somehow, I figured out that they were just acting around trying to fool me into believing that nobody remembered my birthday, probably to surprise me later. I must admit that their acting was good but I couldn't help noticing the flaw --- they sounded too quiet for a day. It turned out to be true because one of them accidentally let the cat out of the bag and ruined the whole act. But still, I was very happy to receive a super-cute present from them. I was glad that they did not forget about my birthday. Then there was the birthday song, it was awkward but touching. It's definitely a great day in school.

Lovely lovely item

My mum boasted about how well she coloured the eggs when I got back home. The red eggs were placed nicely in a pretty little basket. I was told that the cake would be ready at 4pm. I took a nap and woke up at six only to find my dad home. I quickly prepare myself because I knew we will be going out for dinner to celebrate my birthday. We (me and sis) wanted to go for western food but mum preferred the eastern style meal, so we opted for a chinese restaurant.

After taking our dinner, we went back home to try the ice-cream cake yay~!

It was delicious of course. We had a great time taking photos. I made my birthday wish and blew the candles. The birthday celebration ended roughly like this. But this is not all because tomorrow will be mum's birthday. It's such a nice thing to have your family member's birthday the day after yours. Me and mum are just one or two steps away from being an Anak Merdeka but let's face it, we are not. Well, I mean what's so proud about being an Anak Merdeka anyway? I bet people are just showing off because they have nothing else to bluff about =P

Now I need to get some sleep so that I have enough energy to celebrate my mum's birthday tomorrow. I love my day but... that's all for now ^.^, bye.
