As promised, a detailed update on the mock press conference for W.F.M.C. assignment.
Our group did a press conference on local artiste Joanne Yeoh's debut album. For your information, she's a violinist. With that, you know who I acted as. And it really wasn't my idea in the first place, but I was the one who suggested on Joanne Yeoh afterwards.
We arrived extremely early in the morning just to get things done. Vingent and Joshua to decorate the class, me to warm-up, and Tzia to prepare her undone script LOL.
Vingent took the role of the producer while Tzia became my manager. Jeffrey was the Public Relation Officer and the rest of them acted as the media. We barely completed our rehearsal when Ms. Samatha came.
Surprisingly, everything went so smooth as if we were well-rehearsed!

Putting up the best face in public.

Behold the poster that costed us RM30.

You'll never see me this serious very often.
Time to reveal the unseen error: The piece that I played during the demonstration wasn't the intended piece! In fact, it was supposed to be a warm-up only! Anyway, I think it's still a good try, that was my first time performing in front of my friends. Bottom line: I'm a noob =X And it's going to take me forever to play like a pro...
Ms. Samantha was satisfied with our overall performance.
"How I wish I could let the other classes see your performance!", she exclaimed.
She complimented us on teamwork, style and everything. She also added that we had the right idea about what a press conference is all about. It was natural and not awkward. She also praised Jeffrey for being professional and the media group for showing persistency in questioning.
I myself was impressed by my team mates! =)
Thank you all for making the press conference a success. Jeffrey I'm glad we chose you as our P.R., you're best fitted for the job. You sounded very professional! Vingent I know it was tough for you to memorize things written by me, but still you did a great job! Thanks for your hard work and I'll love to ride in your 'little wife' again someday, with the so-called 'life-less'(<--Tzia's adjective) Techno songs turned off. As expression of gratitude, I now invite you to join us in MPYO's concert LOL. Don't frown, classicals are way sexier than Techno =P
Tzia I was impressed by your answers! I mean, I didn't hear from you in the rehearsal and when it was time for the real thing, I really was surprised! You turned up with very good answers for the questions. And maybe I'll need to thank Ivan too, for he helped you in it =P
Thank you Joshua for coming early and helping out in decorating. Oh and you also helped me 'tune' my violin because I forgot to bring the tuner. You helped us a lot and I think we really owe you one. I think our whole group should give you a flying kiss for that LOL. Kidding =X
Thank you Gavin for still coming when you weren't feeling well. We could see that you weren't in condition for the press conference but still you put up your best and remained cooperative. I admire your spirit *salute*.
Thank you Emily for responding to my request and turning up early for a rehearsal. You worked well to help us =D!! Lastly, thank you Fanny for not forgetting about the press conference. You were working late the day before and it was great seeing you turning up in time. I guess it took a lot of effort to slap yourself up early in the morning. I was so glad you weren't late.
Feeling relieved and happy after those stressful exams and assignment v(^o^)v!!
Cheers!!

My family can be very musical sometimes... with me playing the violin, sis on the keyboard and dad rocking (I know it's not the perfect verb but...) his harmonica. To put it in other words, it's very noisy. But harmonica is very sexy in the rain and dad gets easily carried away. He will then challenge us to play by ear - which obviously is to his advantage. During those times I would simply ignore him and go to bed instead.
I don't like losing so I will entertain him if and only when I have fully developed the skill. Sis however, is the complete opposite of me in terms of 'kiasu-ism'. She accepts whatever challenge and is always ready to showcase her talent. But it can be risky.

Dad is building morale. His enthusiasm is soaring high.

And he got so carried away.
I recorded his playing!!! To prove that... *erhek erhek erhem...*
nothing... I still want to live... XP...
