I had an unlucky day.
And even after all that I went through, I had to tough it out listening to mum and Ruby shouting at each other over some trivial matters in the car on the way back.
As if price for forgetting about my Thai amulet! Sheeets!
Katakana, my worst nightmare is finally taught and I find myself coping quite well except for the fact that as compared to hiragana, I'm reacting slow to it.
Today Robert sensei (tutor) commented that I speak just like a Japanese!
Wah so happy!
But the truth is, it was just something as simple as this:
Watashi wa Fung desu. (I'm Fung.)
Watashi wa jyuukyuu sai desu. (I'm 19 years old.)
Dozo yoroshiku onegaishimasu. (I'll be in your care today onwards.)
....... which I've spoken for ages...
Even so, I got really happy for this. He even requested for me to repeat to the class. Now I'm certain that I picked the right subject. I mean, come on... having known Japanese gives me an absolute advantage for a 7 week course unit! Darou?? (Right??) It's like drinking while swimming.
On the other hand, BC II is driving me crazy. First, our lecturer Mr. Beh [kuma (bear) and uma (horse)] XD~!) dropped the assignment bombshell about the fixed song for our MV production and also our individual assignment. Second, came the intimidating information on the super limited production period for our MVs ( 1 week wth) and the confusing 12 ideas selection.
Then in the first tutorial we heard from our tutor, Ms. Foo about herself and also the industry. The rest of the time was spent 'molesting' and 'exploring' Apple Macintosh and viewing our seniors' works.

For people who wonder about the fixed song, I'm helping you save a lot of trouble here.
Kelibat Si Penyair by Azlan & The Typewriter (Yes it's a Malay song obviously)
=.=".... minna dou omou? (what do you all think?) watashi nara... mada shiranai yo. (For me I still don't know.) datte... ima wa mada jishin nai... (because I don't have the confident yet.) kedo gambatte miseru! (but I'll let you see that I work hard!)
For the individual assignment we'll have to shoot a 20sec (hell, even our Garmin TVC is longer than that) video that tells about ourselves. And I don't have any idea yet... T_T
Oh yeah, there's another funeral procession going on in the neigbourhood. Berkeley is so populated by the senior citizens you see... And you know the culture in Klang... it's pissing me off to be honest... I'm a reasonable person here and when I got pissed you know it happened for some good reasons. Sorry for being blunt but you know... just because your family member died doesn't mean that you can do anything you like without a word to your neighbours.
I dunno... maybe it's the Klang culture and it is expected that others tolerate their doings 100%. But I don't like this a bit. And this whole thing causing inconvenience to the household is adding oil to my fiery mood today. ROAR!
Everytime you kissed me
I trembled like a child
Gathering the roses
We sang for the hope
Your very voice is in my heartbeat
Sweeter than my dreams
We were there, in everlasting bloom
Roses die,
The secret is inside the pain
Winds are high up on the hill
I cannot hear you
Come and hold me close
I'm shivering cold in the heart of rain
Darkness falls, i'm calling for the dawn
Silver dishes for the memories,
For the days gone by
Singing for the promises
Tommorow may bring
I harbour all the old affection
Roses of the past
Darkness falls, and summer will be gone
Joy of the daylight
Shadows of the starlight
Everything was sweet by your side, my love
Ruby tears have come to me, for your last words
I'm here just singing my song of woe
Waiting for you, my love
Now let my happiness sing inside of my dream.....
Everytime you kissed me
My heart was in such pain
Gathering the roses
We sang for the grief
Your very voice is in my heartbeat
Sweeter than despair
We were there, in everlasting bloom
Underneath the stars
Shaded by the flowers
Kiss me in the summer day gloom, my love
You are all my pleasure, my hope and my song
I will be here dreaming in the past
Until you come
Until we close our eyes
(Everytime you kissed me by Kajiura Yuki, sung by Emily Bindiger)
