Scroll down to see the (La-La) Prom King.
playing DDR...
Of course not. That would be a waste.
Let's start with Friday morning. I was in the bed and I heard something that sounded like: "Shoo! Shoo!" coming from the kitchen behind. But I was too lazy to get up so I did what I do best to understand the situation: eavesdrop.
Truth is, I didn't really need to. It was thinkable, logical and predictable. Mum was shoo-ing the 4 kids of the "family on our rooftop" off our kitchen. Yeah for some reasons, they have been around for some time and are quite persistent with their actions.
Look at their sparkling eyes, they obviously find our kitchen interesting.
Pictures courtesy of Ruby, like I said I was in the bed. Dad goes all "Meow" with the cats while mum shoos. Quite a funny thing if you see the contrast.
Friday afternoon... waited for dad's confirmation while playing Pokemon Emerald. Kept making Pokeblocks out of boredom, then I received dad's confirmation late in the afternoon.
Make-up session with sis was a true mess. She did all sorts of thing to my face and call them basic. I was almost screaming at it. She kept complaining that I wasn't cooperative and that the make-up wasn't even near enough.
I thought I wasn't able to make it to the prom because dad got home really late, like 8pm? And I didn't want to tire him cause he just came back from work in Perak after he got back from Kelantan. But yeah, I've got the nicest dad on Earth and he sent me straight to PJ after a hasty dinner as soon as he got home =) Thanks dad, love you!
As result of that, Friday Night meant:
Ta-Da! Everlasting Sentiment for us foundation students. Itu saya dengan Orange.
The girls were all super pretty. Didn't get to take many pics cause majority of the people I know were committee members and were busy with their jobs. The party was err... to be frank full of unfamiliar faces for me so all I did was talk all night long with people I will miss for the rest of my life. Lightning was dim and with the very thick make-ups on people's faces I couldn't really recognize everybody at the event. lol. So, yeah it's a good thing I went.
Turned out sis was right about the make-up thingy. Someone (was it Kah Yin?) just came to me and asked if I have make-up on my face. Yeah.
I also witnessed the 'clowning' of Prom King & Queen.
And I couldn't believe my eyes (and ears?)!
Prom King was...
One of these two. For suspense, I will show you only their backs. Seafood and Vietnamese.
Okay serious... Prom King turned out to be...
Prom Queen was Lissa.
Congratulations! =)
Anyway, that was my first prom and hopefully not the last. Not too bad but I didn't get to dance cause the dancefloor session was over when I got there. That's most probably the only regrettable thing of the night for me. Both Fanny and Le-Anne berebut-rebut send me off when I was leaving. lol. That was cute.
People I will miss you all. Give me a call or something if you miss me too and want to hear my voice when you're at Kampar.
I'll root for you all. Cheers =)
