At first I was seriously planning to skip the trip. Reasons being:
1. I was sick.
2. Journey was deemed too long.
3. Mid-term exams on the next day.
I initially promised to go with Penny, but after taking into consideration of the few facts above, I informed her of my new decision. Hours after that, Ryan called and kindly offered me a seat in his car. With that, the few reasons above became less valid. lol. And it didn't take me too long to say okay.
And so, I went to ASTRO together with Ryan, Simon and Ruth, to Penny's surprise.

I hope I get to work in a place like this in the future. haha.
Our tour guide showed us the satellite dishes, Master Control Room, the studios and explained on how they operate them. He would ask questions in between and whoever answers correctly gets a souvenir. Then he also brought us to the Customer Service Department. lol. Seriously, that was a place with different atmosphere. Stressful work builds high pressure. And all of us were very quiet inside the room. To make life less stressful for the employees. lol.
I must say I'm glad I went. Like what Mr. Luqman said, we were a real bunch of lucky bastards. lol. The normal routine for a normal visit to ASTRO would be so much more boring, if it wasn't for us to be greeted by the very friendly hitz.fm crew.

Chacha's friends they are. Picture showing Penny's voice getting recorded. Sorry no quality pic.

Sunny/Rainy/Scorchy/Starry/Moony lol.
They were very nice people. Shared Twisties with us. lol. And in fact, they recorded lots of our voice for their programmes. That was a total blast for our day. I dunno if they really are going to air them but... just in case you hear "RM5000 says it's me!" and you think it sounds really like my voice then yeah, that's probably me. lol. But you know, my voice's not very recognizable. =/...
Anyway, that was the big catch for that day because we actually get to be involved and it's not something that you get to do everyday. Eh, and I think the DJs are quite cute, and they are good-looking. lol.
So... that's our trip to ASTRO. And we ended it with a group pic of the family (it's easier to put it that way) with Mr. Luqman.
Cheez. You probably cannot see me in the group. Me and my subtle presence. *sigh*
Ahah. A little zoom in and we're all done!
Well then, it's time for me to sign off. It's actually 5.40am now. I don't think you'll see me blogging too frequently unless there's any special event because it's now time for assignments rush and I'm not so through with the mid-term blues yet. But you know... I'm a little bit more tougher than I seem.
Till then, eat well (gosh I'm talking to myself). lol. Pictures credit to dear Mun Yee! =)
