But today... we were on for something... classy! XD~!


Mum liked my outfit today. Heh. But I'll tell y'all a secret, it was all calculated because I knew we were going to...


WINTER WARMERS.

English-style afternoon tea you say? My perfect cup of tea. = =+

Paiseh Wuen, I went first with the family women since we couldn't make it, but I came back with a nice review for the place. =)

It actually took us quite some time to place the orders as there were simply... too many to choose from. lol. They serve a real wide-range of drinks, from caffeine-free fruit and herbal tea to coffee and milk tea - hot, cold and iced.

And to think that it actually troubled the customers (us)... lol... In the end, we landed on...

Earl Grey tea (Ruby)

Gosh the teasets! You know the tableware can really make or break the mood. That was splendid for an afternoon tea experience. And it's a typical thing a Virgo like me couldn't resist. lol. You don't get this in most of the restaurants. Seriously. Oh and instead of the usual sugar they gave me honey to mix in my tea. =)

Oh yeah. Three tier platter. Cookies, Cakes, Sandwiches, Scones and Fresh Fruits.

And we happily digged into the food! Woohoo!

Nice cakes and scones. I believe the cakes were tiramisu and lemon cheese. The scones are warm and just right with the texture, they tasted so good o.o! Cookies are pretty milky heh. Everything was good overall.

Mum couldn't stop commenting on how much I look like her younger-self in this picture. Ish. =X (我年轻的时候啊~ 那个脸型跟神情根本一模一样。只是你矮~) =.="...

To sum it up, Winter Warmers is a good place for girly gatherings lol. The music they play, the furniture, everything about it spells SERENITY. It's the perfect place for relaxation and peaceful time with friends. Though according to mum the only imperfection is that the waitresses don't wear maid costumes LOL. (Mum that's gonna be a maid cafe!)

Next time I'll definitely try their beef spaghetti and dinner set. =P And also Lavender cookies, Rose cookies, Lavender Cheese Cake, Smoked Chicken Waffle, Chicken Potato Bake and Lavender Chicken Salad (so greedy). =3... (< --- I learnt this expression from Kohinata Kanade) lol.

Wuen, now I know what to order when we go together. XD

Again, a DSLR can be so inconvenient. Mum really liked what I wore. XD

Shopping after tea time. My wallet is flat now that the holiday is ending. I'll be extra stingy starting tomorrow heh. =P

Ah, before I forget, congratulations to Noel for making into USM. And becoming "Dr." Chua Lee Chee's junior lol. Ah another doctor friend to the list... makes me feel a tad bad about myself. =X
