Past & Present part 2

A tremendous change of lifestyle, is what I am experiencing right now.

No school. No exams. No books. No works. Yes I'm a spoilt brat at home XD~!

While waiting for the time to come (university life), I tried my best to keep the days meaningful. In another word, I sought every possible opportunity to kill time. Even under the objection of my mum --- because she prefer that I sit at home like a doll for her to admire (plain joking lol).

Currently, I'm caught between the intensity of my driving lessons and the debate coaching for the upcoming inter-school competitions. Believe it or not!? I took up the job to coach the debate team for my former school!! For the first time in my life, I'm actually gonna officially 'coach' a debate team!! Not just giving advices or showing the beginners the ropes like what I used to do 2 yrs ago!!

Actually, I'm more like a 'consultant' and 'counsellor'. That's because I believe that the debaters already have what it takes and I do not need to treat them like children. To me, coaching is more about sharing my experiences and opinions with them so that they have more understanding to the situation they are facing and not 'teaching' them what to do. As a matter of fact, I want to focus on helping them shaping the right attitude for a debater instead of giving them 'practical' trainings and practises. Not many might know but debating can be and are always a very emotional thing. Well, based on my 4yrs experience.

But of course I still help them with the technical problems. However, I minimized my role in that as I want them to be independant. I also stopped them when they stepped on something dangerous in the process lol. I'll be going to school tomorrow onwards to 'monitor' their progress.

As for my driving lessons, like I mentioned before in one of my posts, I'm not that 'gifted' in driving. But I gave my best during the practises and now I'm able to do quite okay in the driving academy =) Although few mistakes are unavoidable. The bad news is, I got sun-burned from all the scorching practises in the academy T.T" Can't wear sleeveless clothes for at least a month I guess...

Oh well, that's life and all.

The debate competitions shall officially start this Saturday. *Imagines myself going up the stage for the 30sec coaching during the competition XD~!*
