Orientation

Even after listening to my senior's story about utar's useless orientation, I still insisted to go for it.

Since I'm so damn tired from all those lectures and talks, I will cut down on my usual lengthy and exaggerated elaborations.

At first, I was just getting frustrated at the idea of riding buses for the rest of my university life. Then I got really annoyed when I realized that I have to walk around to get to the bus stands under the heat. Next, I was flabbergasted at the sight of how many freshmen there were in utar.

The next thing I know, I'm already sitting in a hall waiting for the speakers to come. Needless to say, the whole orientation thingy was boring. I was amazed at the fact that I didn't fall asleep during the lectures.

Half of the freshmen 'escaped' while using the few minutes break as an opening. In not more than a few hours, the super-packed lecture hall became spacy. These people really don't have heart la. Boring also don't have to leave ma... give people some face...

Even after seeing my friends left, I insisted to stay.

Then I spent the rest of the day viewing some slideshows and listening to people talking while I yawned my hours off. Oh well, at least I got my timetable.

In a nutshell, I felt stupid for attending the orientation.

Even after knowing about how stupid everything is going to be, I'll still be going to tomorrow's ice-breaking session and telematch --- which is, according to my senior, not interesting at all. In fact, she told me about how they would play with water (under the sun) and advised me to bring along an extra T-shirt to change. Ewww....

My senior: 我觉得你很老实耶。。。。。。

I guess she was actually trying to say I'm stupid. Say it. I don't mind. I'm too worn out to say anything about this.
