Turned out all guesses about the timetable are right. I'm glad I *erhek... erhek...* trusted the information on UTAR website and showed up only today.
I will be having 'extended weekend holidays' thanks to no classes on Monday. I know it sounds really great but trust me people, we're going to spend them off on assignments big time. Though I hope not.
And it seems like I'm not in place to complain about the late class. It's the same for everyone else.
Gosh. We're so going to suffer like disaster victims for the rest of the semester.
Went to the DSA in PD block to sign the acceptance letter for UTAR Scholarship this morning. Took a taxi to PC right after that. The taxi driver happened to be a super friendly (probably because I was friendly to him as well lol) Indian guy who talked to me about studies. And how he hated it. lol.
He even asked if I'm mixed. OMG.
Okay, so he wasn't first. But people, don't I look 100% like a pure Malaysian Chinese?
..........
Due to a few miscalculations, I arrived too early and ended up spending hours reading the newspaper over and over again in the cold and lonely reading room.
Then I had my first lecture for Introduction to Mass Communication this morning. There were LOTS of people in the class and with the number of unfamiliar faces, I can't help but to feel a little intimidated. I thought I would be relaxed since I'm not new to the environment (for a PJ foundation student) but hell no, it's not about the place, it's the people that makes all the difference.
We, former PJ foundation students are the minority (as expected). The few of us (Jeffrey, Chelsea and I) decided to sit somewhere in the middle because the seats in the front were occupied. Mun Yee came in later. It felt like we know only 10% of the people in the class.
The rest all sounded like they knew each other.
The lecture was an okay one since it was just an introduction to the Introduction to Mass Communication. It ended half an hour earlier and we left.
Tomorrow's schedule is a pain, even without tutorials.
Hope I can sleep tonight. lol. I'm having some serious insomnia here.
p/s: My violin teacher stopped teaching to further her studies in Aswara. Gonna miss her cause she's a very nice teacher. But now I need to find a new one =/...
