Overload

I have so much to say and I don't know where to begin.

Guess I'll just start with the most interesting one.

(Part 1)

Yesterday was our very own "Best of T2" award ceremony. Trust me, that was definitely the best thing we had for the whole of this semester. We started it off with David (the future magician) playing the guitar and singing impromptu 'hamsap' songs requested by the crowd - which would have sounded so much more better if it wasn't... dedicated to me. LOL. And Shermaine. We the poor, defenseless victims.

I would kill him without a moment of hesitation under normal condition. Seriously. But well, it was just a joke. A rather funny one. I have a big heart. Haha. Shermaine looked serious though.

Back to the topic, we had really interesting awards for the day. The macho guy award (Khang You), the best-looking guy award (Anderson), the best-looking girl award (Pooi Mun), the sexiest body award (Pui San), the sexiest voice award (Hui Ning), the best actress award (Grace Goh), the sleeping beauty award (Grace Khoo), the best comedian award (Elaine), the best vocal award (Carmen), the best personality award (Ying Hui), the happy-go-lucky award (Jia Xin), the cutest girl award (Penny), the sweetest girl award (Sky), the best smile award (Shermaine)... and so on.

Me: Why got so many seemingly similar awards arrh??? Sweet, cute and best looking same lah!
Chacha: What why? The reason is simple! T2 too many girls lah!

Ryan together with Chacha filmed a documentary for this award ceremony. In this documentary, quite a number of people mentioned my name when asked about the person they admire. But the reasons are all the same - my academic performance. It was also revealed that Pui San and I admire each other! How surprising!

Anyway... guess what I award I got?

I'm really happy with this award. The Nobel Prize means a lot to me, even if it is just a name. I'm glad that my err... academic achievements are being recognized but to be honest, I really hope that people can see me as more than just academic achievements. I hope that people admire me for a better reason and not something as shallow as this.

We ended the ceremony with farewell for Alvin who is quitting UTAR to pursue his degree in architecture in Singapore and also a song, sang by all members of T2 with Chacha as the rapper.

Today it's officially the end of our first semester.

(Part 2)

With assignments and presentations ending, we turn full attention to coursework marks. After all, it's all about the coursework in university.

Now before I even tell you how much I got for my assignments, I'll just tell you this... it's nothing like foundation. It's a really sad thing.

And before we look at the err... sad results, let's look at something more interesting.

Anyway... coursework marks issue strikes back...

I won't complain much now because I'm out of the energy to do so. I think I did quite well for Communicative English and Intro to Mass Comm. But for the rest... urgh... only finals can help... so... don't ask me out people! I will die!

Need to watch 7-8 episodes of Friends to answer the Broadcasting paper. Also have to research on TV programming.
